Last January, I posted here the book launching of Mommy Teresa's "Breastfeeding: A journey worth taking".
After six months of the launch, it will be available on kindle version.
Inspirational author and breastfeeding advocate Teresa Gumap-as Dumadag makes
her newly-released eBook BREASTFEEDING: A
Journey Worth Taking available for free download on Amazon Kindle from
August 1–3, 2014.

Isn't it Amazing? I will surely download this! #happiness |
The author features
stories of triumph over breastfeeding challenges by moms from different walks
of life — stay-at-home moms, work-at-home moms, moms working
outside the home and mompreneurs — on top of telling her
own breastfeeding success story. She happily achieved her personal goal of breastfeeding both of her
sons for at least two years each despite the numerous challenges she
encountered.
World
Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every year from August 1–7 and the theme for
this year is Breastfeeding: A Winning Goal for Life! The author scheduled this
three-day giveaway of her eBook to coincide with the start of World
Breastfeeding Week as her way of helping moms all over the world achieve their personal
breastfeeding goals. She believes that breastfeeding will enable families, not
just moms and babies, to reap a lifetime of health benefits.
Having
read the book, Joyce Martinez says, “Breastfeeding: A Journey Worth Taking by Teresa Gumap-as Dumadag has a holistic view. More than
the basic principles, it is a spiritually-driven breastfeeding book! She draws
inspiration from her spiritual beliefs, and to me that is a salient ingredient
for the success of most nursing mothers. I salute her for passing the culture
of success from one mom to another through this book!”
Martinez is a Certified Lactation Counselor by the USA Academy of
Lactation Policy and Practice. She’s a Registered Nurse with a Master of
Science in Nursing and Major in Maternal and Child Health. Currently, she is
Medela Moms Inc.’s In-House Lactation Counselor. She used to be Lactation Nurse
Manager at St. Luke’s Medical Center’s Lactation Unit in Bonifacio Global City,
Taguig.
The author herself
says, “At first I didn’t understand why I had to go through a lot of tests or
challenges in my breastfeeding journey, especially with my eldest son. Looking
back however, I realized that God allowed me to experience those tests because
He eventually used my passing of those tests to become my testimony to inspire
and empower other moms.”
