Swimming is an important life skill that children and adults should learn as early as possible. Aside from that, swimming is a skill that can be mastered at any age but is best when taught early on.

In fact, I really like to learn how to swim, it’s in my bucket list. I can swim a little but within my reach lang, pag malalim na, ayun hindi ko na kaya hehe. Hanggang pag aura lang tuloy ako pag nasa beach eh. πŸ™‚

It’s also essential that every child learn to swim, especially to be water-safe. That is why we encourage our eldest daughter to learn to swim. Good thing, our kids, Rylee (6 years old) and Lyla (1 year old) loves being in the pool or at the beach. Habang bata sila, we will enroll them in swim school that we believe can help them learn it in a fun way.

When it comes to swim school, there is only one premiere swimming school here in the Philippines that we can trust and that is of course, Bert Lozada Swim School

Mommies and Tita’s Swim Day at Ace Water Spa

Last June 13, we were invited  by Bert Lozada Swim School to Mommies and Tita’s Swim day at Ace Water Spa. Thank you Ms. Adae for including us on this event. ^_^

It was a morning of fun about swimming and bonding with fellow mom/tita bloggers.

We were very happy because it’s our first time in Ace Water Spa, and of course, coaches from BLSS taught us how to swim. It’s a day of learning about swimming as one of the important life skills we all need to acquire.

Me and Lyla joined the Baby and Me program, it is designed for 6 months to 3 years old kids.

In this program, parents are taught how to help their child to be confident and happy in the water and encourage learning through fun activities.

Rylee joined Kids program for 4 years old and up. I think she’s in level 2 because this is for children ready to work without their parent.

It is a comprehensive program for young children and teens teaching proper survival skills and the four main swimming strokes.

As I observed during the swimming lesson, specially in Kids program, the coaches are really hands-on, hindi nila tinatakot ang mga bata to learn, no need na ihagis sila sa pool para matuto. Rylee had a phobia kasi sa coach nya dati pero ibang swim school yun. Here in BLSS, they teach it with passion kaya enjoy din ang mga kids eh.

Thank you so much Bert Lozada Swim School. Excited na si Rylee sa kanyang swimming lesson!

Thank you also to the following sponsors:

While learning to swim is best introduced to children, one is never too old or too young to start. Swimming is a life skill that we all need. Kids and adults will be safer in or around the water when you have good swimming skills.

Let’s learn to swim, enroll now at Bert Lozada Swim School.
