Bata pa lang ako, I already knew the benefits of breast milk because my Nanay breastfed me and my other two siblings until we are 2 years old. I remember my Nanay always saying to me na “hindi kita pinainom ng gatas ng hayop”…hahaha…#imissmynanay
When I knew that I am pregnant, I started reading books about pregnancy and breastfeeding.
As a first-timer, I am clueless about taking care of baby especially what to feed them.
I really wanted to nourish my baby the best milk in the whole universe.

Good thing, I have friends from community who are breastfeeding advocate.
From their stories and encouragement, they also shared na mahirap pero nakayanan nila,
That is why I know I can do it.

True enough, despite the sleepless nights and sore nipples,
And I am proud to say that I breastfed Rylee for 7 months.

It is indeed a journey worth taking...
And if I could turn back the time, I will do it until now even I’m working. I know I can do it longer, hindi ko alam bakit biglang nawala ang gatas ko…huhuhu…
I will make bawi sa second baby .Promise! 😀
